Electricity for customers on regulated market by ENERGO-PRO

What is a regulated market?

The regulated market is a market model in which electricity prices and supply conditions are determined and controlled by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC). Its decisions are public and available at www.dker.bg.

Which customers are subject to the regulated market?

The regulated electricity market in Bulgaria applies only to household end customers. They have the right to purchase electricity from an end supplier at prices set by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).

How are prices formed?

The final price includes energy, network fees and shipping. For non-domestic customers, the price is freely negotiated with licensed traders, and for domestic customers — it is approved annually by the EWRC for the period 1 July — 30 June.
