STREAM corner in DG “Morska Zvezditsa” in Varna

In the kindergarten “Sea Star” in Varna, the dreams of the little researchers are already being built brick by brick. The project “Small Builders, Big Ideas: Lego Adventures in the Knowledge World” was successfully implemented, with the Engineering sector at STREAM corner enriched with a variety of LEGO Education, LEGO Classic and LEGO DUPLO sets. New resources have transformed the space into a dynamic learning environment that encourages creative thinking, experimentation, and collaboration.

Children are already building their own small towns, creating vehicles and inventing exciting space adventures, developing their imagination and construction skills. As they play, they learn how to build stable structures, find the balance between different elements, and understand basic engineering principles. With the help of fun tasks and games, they develop their logical thinking and master the basics of programming, learning to arrange their actions in the correct order to achieve the desired result. Sets with animals give them the opportunity to get to know different species and their peculiarities, while creating their own stories and participating in role-playing games. Thus, they improve the coordination of their movements, learn to work together and find solutions to various challenges.

With the implementation of the project, an enriching and inspiring learning environment was created in the kindergarten, which will continue to motivate children to learn through play, explore new ideas and develop skills necessary for the future.
