ENERGO-PRO presented a plan for the development of the network in the city of Varna

The managers of ENERGO-PRO Varna Angel Angelov, Plamen Stefanov and Radoslav Ivanov discussed with the Mayor of Varna Municipality Blagomir Kotsev specific investment intentions of the company for the development of the electricity distribution network in the maritime capital.

A major challenge facing the energy company is the rapid development of new construction in the city, which leads to an increase in requests for connection to the grid. In the coming years, a shortage of available energy capacities is forecast, which will lead to the impossibility of connecting new users to the grid.

The investment intentions of ERP North, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, are aimed at large-scale projects in areas with growth in consumption. The long-term development plans foresee the construction of substations and associated energy facilities in partnership with the Electricity System Operator (ESO). The time horizon for their implementation is in the next 5 years. Their successful implementation will support the main strategic objectives of ENERGO-PRO in Varna — increasing the quality and security of electricity supply to customers and supporting the development of business in the city.
