Safety training continues in other cities across the country

The ENERGO-PRO educational campaign “Turn on the mind, turn off the danger!” continues to be of great interest among children and teachers. With visits to the primary school “Dr. Peter Beron”, s. Priseltsi and DG “Detsko gradche” in Varna ended the first stage of the attendance classes that the company team held in the maritime capital.

During the interactive lessons, children learned more about the safe use of electricity at home, at school and outside. The activities took the form of conversation, play and visual tasks that helped the little participants more easily recognize potentially dangerous situations.

Of particular interest were the exercises in which the children had to detect the differences between two pictures and point out the risky situations. Within the framework of the classes held so far in Varna, the campaign reached more than 400 children from kindergartens and primary classes who actively participated in the training. At the end of the lessons, the participants received a “Safety Hero” certificate, and the youngest - coloring books and educational materials.

The campaign “Turn on the mind, turn off the danger!” aims in an accessible and interesting way to acquaint children with the basic rules for the safe use of electricity. The initiative is realized through interactive lessons, educational materials and participation of the specially created characters of the campaign — Tokcho and Svetkavichka.

As part of the campaign, ENERGO-PRO also held an online webinar for teachers from different localities, during which the educational materials and practical guidelines for conducting the lessons on safe use of electricity were presented.

After the end of the visits to Varna, the initiative continues in other cities in the country. Until the end of the school year, there are still meetings with pupils and children from kindergartens, as well as conducting trainings with the educational materials provided.
