Three substations in Varna have a new and colorful look thanks to ENERGO-PRO

Within the framework of the “ENERGO-PRO for Society” initiative, a project was approved for painting substations of the association “Bulgarian Graffiti School”, whose main cause is sustainable change in the urban environment, for the benefit of the local and national community. With the financial support of the company, the renewed appearance of the three facilities, owned by ERP North, is already pleasing the residents and guests of the city. Two of the substations are located in the central part of Varna - on Red Square and next to the church of St. Petka, and the third TP is next to Bl. 29A in the village of Chaika. All three locations have a large flow of people and so many more people will be able to enjoy the street art of the graffiti artists, and the theme of their images is flora and fauna.
The ambition of the association “Bulgarian Graffiti School” is within the framework of their project “Urban dwellers” with the help of sponsors to paint nearly 20 more substations in key places in the maritime capital. Created in 2019, it has a number of workshops held outdoors and indoors, organized private and municipal festivals, projects related to the transformation of the urban environment. When choosing facilities, priority is given to those with vandal-damaged appearance, as well as those that pass by a larger number of people. Each of the painting activities is carried out with the approval of the Management Board of ERP North and with the corresponding permit. Experienced artists are engaged in the depiction of the murals, as well as those who have a desire to learn to handle modern painting techniques.
This is the first project in the category “Sustainable urban development” approved in the “ENERGO-PRO for society” initiative. It has already received the support of Varna Municipality and will be continued in the future for a more beautiful and welcoming Varna.
